Community support
Pathway is a community hub, a place for members to socialise, plan events, get together and support each other.
We have our online Facebook group, which offers a private place for members to chat and get to know each other better.
Peter and Francis, two of our longest standing members, run Pathway and ensure all of our new members feel welcome and supported.
Pathway newsletter
The Pathway newsletter is a monthly round up of all the news from our members, from events to family milestones. It’s a great way to stay connected to a community of which you can play a part, be this large or small.
Pathway community events
Community and social events with people who understand your journey is a fantastic way to ensure a good mental outlook and in turn, better quality of life.
Pathway endeavours to organise lunches, BBQs, days away or even holidays for our members to join, with understanding about Parkinson’s at the core of all planning.

AT PCIT
You will find not only world-class care but also a compassionate community that celebrates and supports your progress. Together, let’s move forward with a healthcare experience that recognises the whole person, honours your individuality, and redefines what living with Parkinson’s can be.
“This is the first time in 3 years I have been able to exercise and been given the opportunity to move. It is such a good feeling. Both Clare and Sarah are lovely”
Mark Mardell – Writer and broadcaster
“I feel both proud and privileged to be the Patron of this centre. It is a brilliant idea, and like many a brilliant idea it seems simple and obvious –but only in retrospect, once someone has had the thought and pushed it with determination. All kudos to Prof David Wilkinson.“
